Coverplus extends the standard guarantee on Epson PoS printers
to four years from the date the product was purchased new by
its first user. It gives you direct access to free technical
support, as well as a repair and replacement service. It is
a low cost, low risk way to protect your investment in Epson
technology. How to purchase it
There
are four different warranty packs, depending on the model of
your printer. Just ask your reseller to include the appropriate
pack with each Epson printer you order. You can check which
pack you need here.
Your reseller must register the pack with Epson for you.
How to use it
Details
of who to contact are on the Authorisation form that is supplied
with your pack. You will need the printer’s serial number,
your location and the details of the fault. You may also need
proof that less than four years have elapsed since the product
was purchased new (a dated receipt or invoice). If the printer
cannot be repaired, Epson will provide a permanent replacement.

Next day service
If required,
Epson will deliver a replacement printer before 12 noon the
next working day (or before 5.30 in Northern Ireland and the
Republic of Ireland), for calls received before 3.30pm, Monday
to Friday. Exceptions should be expected in remote parts of
the UK and Republic of Ireland, and the Scottish Highlands and
Islands. The unexpired portion of the warranty will be transferred
to the replacement product.
What if you sell your product?
The
warranty can be transferred to the new owner provided that they
have the original Authorisation form that is supplied with the
pack, and that they have a dated receipt or invoice to prove
that less than four years have elapsed since the product was
purchased new by its first user. Systems warranties
