Offering print speeds up to 30% faster than the TM-U300 at 5 lines per second, the TM-U220 also delivers enhanced ease of use. In addition to the drop-in paper load the printer has a selectable auto-cutter and clamshell covers for fast easy access and maintenance. All these features are included while maintaining a footprint of just 160 (W) x 248 (D) x 133 (H) mm, ensuring the printer will take up minimal space on any counter.

A highly flexible printer, the TM-U220 delivers increased font options to help retailers maximise the impact of their receipts and coupons. Retailers can also take advantage of flexible paper width options, while the printer can be mounted either horizontally or vertically.

The TM-U220 offers excellent connectivity with a full range of interface options, including high-speed serial (115.2KB/sec), Ethernet, RFI, and Powered USB. It is also completely compatible with printers in the TM-U200 series, ensuring an easy migration path for the retailer. The printer is designed to consume minimal power and is equipped with its own internally mounted 240v/220v power supply.
