Compact, economical and specifically designed for counter applications, Epson has launched the PLQ-20 impact printer series to bring speed and versatility to the banking industry.

Reliable and robust, Epson's PLQ-20 printer series is available with a host of standard and optional features to ensure maximum performance in busy environments. For example, automatic functionality such as sheet alignment, paper thickness adjustment and page border recognition together with optional Magnetic Stripe Reader, makes the PLQ-20 series ideal for printing pass and savings books in banks and building societies.

Offering high-speed printing of up to 480 characters per second and a long-life ribbon of 5 million characters, the series accepts pass books of up to 2.6mm thick. Integrating easily into existing IT environments with its ESC/P 2, IBM emulation and Olivetti PR2E default setting, the series has standard Parallel, Serial and USB interfaces and, as an option, can also be connected to wired and wireless networks.
