Epson will be showcasing a wide range of reliable printers and innovative touchscreen systems for the point of service on its stand (H24) at the Retail Solutions show, 7–9th June at Birmingham’s NEC.

New IR-700 Intelligent Register

Epson will unveil the IR-700; the latest addition to its advanced, touchscreen Intelligent Register range which represents the next generation of integrated EPoS systems. Stylish and contemporary, the IR-700 is the smallest in its class and provides a high-performance, easy-to-use, all-in-one system for maximised efficiency at the point of service in all retail and hospitality environments. A single plug system, the IR-700’s advanced features and functionality includes large high-durability LCD touchscreen, kiosk orientation, unique maintenance tools, in-built smart cable management, onboard diagnostic software and an integrated fast, thermal TM-T88III receipt printer.

Mobile printer demo

Epson will also address the issue of mobility with a demonstration of its TM-P60 thermal mobile printer. Compact, lightweight and easy- to-use the TM-P60 brings flexibility and convenience to all busy retail, hospitality and distribution environments. In addition, Epson will be launching a Bluetooth version of the TM-P60 to offer retailers even greater flexibility and choice.

Full colour printing at the point of sale

With its 4-colour TM-C100 Epson will demonstrate at Retail Solutions how to communicate creatively with customers at the point of sale. Using SEAJet printing technology, the TM-C100 enables retailers to create bespoke high-impact receipts, coupons, tickets and vouchers on-demand in order to communicate creatively, and build brand image and loyalty. The compact TM-C100 includes a heavy duty auto-cutter and auto-sheet feeder and is capable of accepting a wide range of media including large diameter paper rolls, card, continuous labels and special coated papers. As such it can be used, for example, to produce price tags, gift-cards, tickets, vouchers, membership cards and promotional coupons. In addition, the printer uses pigment ink which is water resistant, light-fast and ozone resistant, making it suitable for outdoor applications, such as tickets for attractions and events.
